Portuguese Parenting in America group starting September 30

The Framingham FRC is hosting a virtual group for Portuguese-speaking parents called “Parenting in America.” This small group of parents and caregivers will meet virtually every Monday from 6 – 7 p.m. for eight weeks starting on September 30.

In a supportive setting, we will work to uncover inner strengths and help achieve goals:

  • Discover which government agencies, NGOs, and private institutions will be most helpful and how to navigate them effectively.
  • Become more assertive in advocating for yourself and your children.
  • Identify your strengths and increase your resiliency.
  • Learn to tackle everyday stressors and challenging situations.
  • Learn to trust yourself and those who will be most supportive of you and your family.
  • Become more confident and optimistic about achieving personal goals.
