Pittsfield FRC Hosting Several Ongoing Groups

The Pittsfield FRC has several ongoing groups for everyone from parents and grandparents to LGBTQIA+ youth. Learn more below:

  • Achieving Dadhood
    • Second and fourth Tuesdays of every month from 6 – 7 pm at the Pittsfield FRC (480 West Street, Pittsfield). Dinner is provided.
    • This is a group for dads to talk to about the challenges and struggles they face being a dad, including:
      • Being a positive role model
      • Being a dad in today’s society
      • First-time dads
      • First generation dads

  • Parenting Circle
    • Second and fourth Tuesdays of every month from 5:30 – 7 pm at the Pittsfield FRC (480 West Street, Pittsfield). Dinner is provided.
    • This is a group for all parents! Maybe your child reached “terrible twos” or is having a tough time in school, or maybe your teen is making you feel like the worst parent alive. This group will help with:
      • Positive discipline
      • Emotion regulation
      • School support
      • Activities to help support stress reduction

  • Mommy & Me Support/Play Group
    • Every Tuesday from 11 am – 12:30 pm at the Pittsfield FRC (480 West Street, Pittsfield). Snacks and beverages will be provided. This group is welcome to English and Spanish speakers.
    • Join us for a support/playgroup for moms and children ages 0-3. This is a time for moms and children to socialize, learn, and connect.

  • LGBTQIA+ Programming
    • Live Out Loud Middle School Group: Thursdays from 4 – 5:30 pm; Live Out Loud High School Group: Wednesdays from 3 – 4:30 pm; Young Adult Affinity Group: Thursdays from 12:30 – 2 pm
    • Join the Pittsfield FRC to enjoy a supportive space for groups and educational series that center on LGBTQIA+ conversations, fun activities, field trips, and pride events!
