On Thursday, October 16, community members came together at the EcoTarium in Worcester to celebrate 10 years of Family Resource Centers (FRCs) in Massachusetts.

In attendance for the celebration were Senate President Karen Spilka; Representative Paul Donato; Dr. Kiame Mahaniah, secretary, Massachusetts Executive Office of Health and Human Services (EOHHS); Hon. Joan McMenemy, Berkshire Juvenile Court first justice; Staverne Miller, commissioner, Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (DCF); Mary McGeown, undersecretary, EOHHS; Glenn Daly, director, Office of Children, Youth and Families, EOHHS; Maria Mossaides, director, Massachusetts Office of the Child Advocate; Jose Monteiro, director, Community and Family Engagement, DCF; Marolí Licardié, program manager, FRC Network, DCF; Lisa Colombo, DNP, MHA, RN, executive vice chancellor, ForHealth Consulting at UMass Chan Medical School; and Juliana Badaro, board chair, Community Connections of Brockton — along with many others from the FRC network and beyond.
