The Pittsfield FRC has a busy August ahead, with two field trips and two life skills workshops for families to take part in.

Eagle Eye Institute Trip: Tuesday, August 11. Calling all 18 Degrees mentors and mentees, FRC and PCC staff, and participants for an immersive day in nature with the Eagle Eye Institute team. Meet at 703 West Housatonic Street, Pittsfield, with transportation leaving at 9am and returning at 5pm. Transportation and lunch are provided. Parent Cafe: Friday, August 15, 10am-12pm. A fun conversation group where parents meet to learn life skills and share successes and challenges, followed by lunch together with their children. Job Fair Field Trip: Tuesday, August 19, 11am-1pm, at Berkshire Innovation Center, 45 Woodlawn Avenue, Pittsfield. Everyone is welcome, from first-time job seekers to career-ready young professionals, to explore MassHire’s job fair alongside FRC staff. The FRC will provide transportation to and from the event for young adults. Registration is required by noon on August 17. Financial Literacy Workshop: Wednesday, August 19, 5-7pm, at 480 West Street, Pittsfield. A free workshop series in collaboration with Greylock Federal Credit Union, this session focuses on budgeting to help families take control of their finances and reduce stress.
