MHAP for Kids improves the health and educational success of children with unmet mental health needs at risk for possible or further court involvement, by advocating to improve access to needed mental health services. MHAP for Kids staff attorneys collaborate with the Family Resource Centers (FRCs) to provide free legal representation in special education and other mental health access matters.
