On behalf of Commissioner Doyle from the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health (DMH), DMH would like to make you aware of the availability of urgent care services for both mental health and substance use concerns.

The Community Behavioral Health Centers (CBHCs) and the Behavioral Health Urgent Care Centers (BHUCs) are open throughout Massachusetts and can see patients for Urgent Mental Health Services.

Individual and group therapy, psychiatric medication consults, medication for addiction treatment, and referrals to treatment
Same or next day evaluation, pharmacology, and addiction medication within 72 hours of initial evaluation
24/7 short-term overnight crisis care
24/7 in-person crisis support for anyone in Massachusetts
Extended Outpatient Clinic Hours 8am-8pm on weekdays; 9am-5pm on weekends Extended hours on weekdays and some weekend hours—varies by location
