Active Parenting of Teens

• This group is for parents of teens and ‘tweens and will give you the guidance and support you need to turn the challenges of raising a teenager into opportunities for growth. You’ll learn:
  • Methods of respectful discipline
  • Skills for clear, honest communication
  • Concrete strategies to prevent risky behavior
  • How to be an encouraging parent
  • Insight into important issues such as teens online, bullying, and depression
• Dates: May 29, June 5, 12, 26, and July 3 from 12 – 2 p.m.

Family Fest & BBQ: Your Summer Kickoff!

• Join the Cape Cod FRC for summer fun! There will be:
  • Summer essentials giveaway
  • BBQ and ice cream food trucks
  • 20 raffle prizes
  • Touch-a-truck
  • Face painting
  • Game and more!
• Event will be on Saturday, June 28 from 12 – 3 p.m. at the Hyannis Youth & Community Center, 141 Bassett Lane, Hyannis, MA.

Fridays in the Herd/Four-Day Summer Program

• The Cape Cod FRC is offering a free activity to spend time with horses! There will be transportation provided to and from the Cape Cod FRC as well as food and soft drinks.
• This activity is for ages 10 through 18. Participation requires a waiver, medical, and media release to be signed by a caregiver.

• Fridays in the Herd:
  • Pick your date, all from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.:
    • June: 20 or 27
    • July: 11, 18, or 25
